Job Responsibilities
- Manage Workers’ Compensation case management and cost containment
- Support Return-to-Work Programs and partner with HR for FMLA when appropriate
- Oversee the Medical Services program and staff including scheduling, performance evaluations, and recruiting
- Conduct new hire orientation
- Perform ergonomic assessments
- Maintain First Aid/AED/CPR certifications
- Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and Human Resources Departments
- Administer drug and alcohol testing
- Comply with the Blood Borne Pathogens Program
- Deliver acute onsite injury/illness management
- Communicate with Occupational Health Medical Clinics, Hospitals, and Workers Compensation Resolution Managers
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Valid unencumbered RN license in California or compact state
- CPR/AED certification
- Management experience
- Microsoft Office experience
Preferred Skills
- Wound care experience
- Employee health experience
- Knowledge of OSHA sensitive conservative care options
