Provide nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse.
Perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned.
Maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients.
Delegate tasks appropriately to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and/or Sitters.
Perform assignments appropriate to age and developmental level of patients being served.

Demonstrates teamwork
Communicates in a professional manner
Ability to learn and apply computer technologies and procedures related to patient care

Experience: Less than one year of related experience.

Education: Associate's Degree; BSN required within three years of hire for new hires after June 14, 2017.

License & Certification:

Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida
BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS from the American Heart Association for specific departments
PALS from the American Heart Association for specific departments
Crisis Prevention Institute training within ninety days, and then annually for Psych Unit

Schedule:
