Provide nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for professional nursing.
Perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned.
Maintain accountability/responsibility for assigned patients.
Delegate tasks appropriately to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and/or Sitters.
Ensure assignments are performed appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients.

Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team.
Ability to learn and apply computer technologies and procedures that affect patient care delivery.

Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience as RN in Emergency Room or ICU.

Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing; BSN required within three years of hire for new hires effective June 14, 2017.

License & Certification:

Current licensure as RN in Florida or a state under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
BLS from the American Heart Association.
ACLS from the American Heart Association.
PALS and NRP required within six months of hire or transfer for new employees.
CEN or TNCC preferred.
