Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and supervision of staff orientation, training, and development.
  • Evaluate individual staff performance.
  • Function as a clinical expert responsible for the nursing process when providing or supervising direct patient care.
  • Assume responsibility for care coordination focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to remove barriers and implement evidence-based programs.
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Engage in professional organizations to enhance leadership and career growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Promote an inclusive workplace valuing diversity.
  • Contribute to the development of care delivery models and environmental design.

Requirements

  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse
