Job Responsibilities

Oversee the 24/7 operation of assigned units and provide coverage for other Nurse Managers as needed
Direct and supervise orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluate individual staff performance
Serve as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance care outcomes
Lead the development of care delivery models and environmental design
Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards
Align nursing/clinical objectives with organizational strategic outcomes
Promote an inclusive workplace valuing diversity
Participate in the Shared Governance councils utilizing clinical expertise and evidence-based practice

Preferred Skills

Master's in Nursing (MSN)

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)

Requirements

Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency

License & Certification:

Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse
1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
