Oversee and direct functions associated with the assigned department under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services.
Ensure department compliance with hospital philosophy, policies, procedures, goals, and budget.
Maintain high patient and employee satisfaction scores.
Assure nursing staff compliance with National Patient Safety Goals and hospital standards.
Serve as a role model for professional and nursing practice.
Ensure fiscal functions of the department comply with accepted accounting practices.
Protect the integrity of information pertaining to patients, staff, and physicians.
Project a professional demeanor while maintaining confidentiality.
Lead and direct the work of nursing staff.
Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Experience: Five years of relatable nursing experience required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
