Job Responsibilities
- Accept responsibility for all department functions in support of the mission, vision, values and facility goals.
- Ensure patient safety of the Postpartum and Newborn Nursery practice environments.
- Integrate management of information and effective communication skills in daily practice.
- Foster a partnership with patients and significant others.
- Support continuity of care and coordination across care settings.
- Maintain high quality age & developmental specific care for infants to adults.
- Create Women’s Health specific initiatives and process improvements.
- Develop collaborative practices and relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
- Manage multiple levels of personnel including payroll and budget.
- Serve as a liaison for hospital, community and other institutions.
- Organize and supervise human and material resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years management experience, preferred
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
License & Certification:
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider card
- NRP required
