Pay: $20,000 Sign-on Bonus, Housing allowance of $1,000 for 12 months

Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
Provides direction, orientation, training, competency, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
Performs performance evaluations and manages all coaching and disciplinary actions for staff.
Assesses and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
Performs staff responsibilities and takes patient assignments on the floor as needed.
Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
Ensures staff have the necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Manages timekeeping in KRONOS and interviews and hires staff.
Manages performance improvement projects and regulatory compliance for department.
Responds to complaints about patient care and related services.
Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
Reviews and updates all policies and procedures for the department.
Manages all aspects of nursing provision of care for department.

Experience:

Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

License & Certification:

Current NM RN license or appropriate compact licensure
BLS upon hire
NRP and ACLS within six months of hire
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Advanced Fetal Monitoring and STABLE within one year from hire
