Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of best practice models and patient care delivery systems.
  • Delegate tasks related to the investigation and resolution of patient/family/member concerns.
  • Facilitate collaboration with physicians, outside healthcare providers, and other team members.
  • Monitor resource needs in multiple clinical areas for appropriate assignment and utilization.
  • Manage the use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients and employees.
  • Maintain clinical expertise and provide clinical supervision
  • Create and advocate for developmental opportunities for others; build collaborative relationships.
  • Solicit and act on performance feedback; work with leaders and employees to set goals.
  • Pursue professional growth; hire, train, and develop talent for growth opportunities.
  • Oversee implementation and adaptation to organizational changes and best practices.
  • Foster open dialogue among team members and motivate teams to meet business objectives.
  • Delegate tasks and decisions appropriately and provide support and guidance.
  • Manage designated units or teams by translating business plans into tactical action items.
  • Communicate goals and objectives; incorporate resources, costs, and forecasts into plans.
  • Identify and address improvement opportunities; guide performance and develop contingency plans.
  • Manage hospital administrative functions supporting patient care.
  • Develop and implement operational initiatives and manage budgets.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with physicians and oversee complex workflows.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure accountability for performance.
  • Design emergency preparedness programs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on developing strategic plans for integrated services.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of quality and safety in clinical practices.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
