Job Responsibilities
- Serves as nursing supervisor during non-administrative tours.
- Manages and directs employees, independently allocating resources.
- Makes necessary changes in staffing due to unplanned leave or changes in patient acuity.
- Delivers nursing responsibilities demonstrating leadership and experience in patient care.
- Directs and organizes care delivery to assure continuity and evaluates outcomes.
- Applies evidence-based practice and formulates outcomes for groups of patients.
- Collaborates with staff using professional standards and evaluates programs or service activities.
- Rounds and provides consultations to providers.
- Collaborates with the Administrative Officer of the Day (AOD) and other interdisciplinary team members.

Requirements
Experience: 2 years of professional nursing experience equivalent to Nurse I, Level 3
Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing accredited by ACEN or CCNE
License & Certification:
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse
Schedule:
- Must be flexible to work all tours
- 24-hour coverage in 12-hour increments required
COVID-19 Requirements: Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is required
