Job Responsibilities
- Serve as nursing supervisor during non-administrative tours.
- Manage and direct employees, independently allocate human and material resources.
- Make necessary staffing changes due to unplanned leave and/or changes in patient acuity.
- Deliver position responsibilities demonstrating leadership and experience in complex patient care.
- Direct and organize the delivery of care to assure continuity and peer accountability.
- Apply clinical knowledge to promote staff involvement in planning and decision-making.
- Function proficiently in clinical practice related to assigned roles and responsibilities.
- Apply evidence-based practice and formulate outcomes for patient groups.
- Collaborate with leadership and staff using standards of care and scientific evidence.
- Round regularly and act as a consultant to providers.
- Assist with decisions related to ongoing patient care and emergency actions.

Requirements
Experience:
Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by an accrediting agency.
License & Certification:
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a nurse in a US State or Territory
Schedule:
- Must be flexible to work all tours including weekends and holidays
COVID-19 Requirements: Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is required.
