Serve as nursing supervisor during non-administrative tours.
Manage and direct employees, independently allocate human and material resources.
Make necessary staffing changes due to unplanned leave and/or changes in patient acuity.
Deliver position responsibilities demonstrating leadership and experience in complex patient care.
Direct and organize the delivery of care to assure continuity and peer accountability.
Apply clinical knowledge to promote staff involvement in planning and decision-making.
Function proficiently in clinical practice related to assigned roles and responsibilities.
Apply evidence-based practice and formulate outcomes for patient groups.
Collaborate with leadership and staff using standards of care and scientific evidence.
Round regularly and act as a consultant to providers.
Assist with decisions related to ongoing patient care and emergency actions.

Experience:

Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by an accrediting agency.

License & Certification:

Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a nurse in a US State or Territory

COVID-19 Requirements: Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is required.
