Job Responsibilities

Serve as a resource person to physicians, nurses, patients, and family members.
Apply principles of adult learning to plan and conduct educational sessions.
Role model expert communication skills to colleagues.
Demonstrate foresight regarding the impact of nursing care on patient outcomes.
Complete employee conference, risk management, and unit management reports within specified time frames.
Identify the need for revision and evaluate the effectiveness of operational forms.
Provide and coordinate resources needed within the unit for optimal patient outcomes.
Role model time management skills through example.
Ensure compliance and adherence with stated policies and procedures.

Requirements

Experience: 2 years of recent nursing experience and a minimum of 2 years in the area of concentration.

Education: Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

License & Certification:

Registered Nursing License approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing
BLS certification
ACLS certification may be required post-hire.
