Job Responsibilities
- Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Supporting residents with medication
- Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the community
- Toileting and incontinent care
- Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse
- Observing and reporting on residents’ health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively
- Detailing daily reports to Nurse or designated charge person at end of shift
- Providing emotional support and serving as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones
- Recognizing abnormal changes in body functioning and reporting to a supervisor
- Performing nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations
- Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations

Requirements
Experience:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent
License & Certification:
- Valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state
- Current CPR certification
