Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Needed for Adult Patient - Sign on Bonus

Position: LPN for Adult patient dependent on G-tube, Trach and Vent

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $27-30/HR, $2,500 sign-on bonus

Shift: Sunday through Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM

Job Responsibilities

Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes as appropriate.
Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
Participate in, implement, and update the nursing care plan.
Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment to achieve expected outcomes.
Recognize changes in patient needs requiring intervention and implement care to prevent or reduce risk.
Comply with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
Utilize infection control measures according to OSHA standards.
Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Maintain knowledge of competencies via educational programs and continued education units.

Requirements

Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current LPN license, one year of specific experience in South Carolina, California, and Louisiana as required

Education:

License & Certification:

Active, unencumbered LPN license
Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling available - full-time, part-time, or PRN.
Days, nights, and weekend shifts available.
