Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Participate, implement and update the nursing care plan.
- Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
- Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention.
- Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability.
- Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect staff and patients.
- Educate the patient and family regarding the disease process and self-care techniques.
- Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession.

- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments
- Documentation compliance
- Infection control measures
Preferred Skills
- 6 months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
- Home health experience
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution
Requirements
Experience: One year prior hands-on nursing experience
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
License & Certification:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test - 2 step (current within last 12 months)
