Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and evaluate the nursing care given to Observation patients.
- Develop and implement individual patient care plans in accordance with standards of nursing practice.
- Administer medications as ordered for specific group of patients, demonstrating knowledge of their modes of action, side effects and contraindications.
- Initiate, regulate and manage IV therapy for a specific group of assigned patients.
- Assume responsibility for patient placement on the unit and assignment of care responsibilities.
- Evaluate patient environment for safety and communicate identified concerns to the appropriate person.
- Provide patient education and keep patients informed of treatment plans.

- Specialty Certification (e.g., Chemotherapy, ACLS, PALS)
- Current acute clinical care experience
Requirements
Experience: Preferred current acute clinical care experience
Education: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing
License & Certification:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Nevada
- Current CPR certification from American Heart Association
