Job Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients and document results.
Finish charts appropriately and in a timely manner.
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
Familiarity with patients whose age range is six months to that of the geriatric population.
Place IVs and conduct blood draws as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

SC Nurse Practitioner License or SC Certified Physician Assistant Licensure (PA-C)
DOT Certification
Minimum of six months of experience in an urgent care/ER setting
Ability to build rapport with patients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership qualities

Preferred Skills

Previous experience in primary care/family medicine
IVs and drawing blood experience
