Job Responsibilities
- Deliver the highest quality patient care according to specific orders of each patient’s individual physician.
- Utilize knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer patients’ medications and provide treatments according to physicians’ orders.
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Preferred Skills
- Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, CNOR, CEN) preferred
- Additional certification or licensure for some specialty areas may be required
