Job Responsibilities
- Oversee total operations of the acute rehabilitation program
- Ensure clinical and administrative excellence
- Manage budgeting and program development
- Lead staff management and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure productivity across an interdisciplinary team
- Serve as primary representative of the program within the hospital
- Model effective communication and adherence to policies
- Drive strategic growth for the program
- Assign additional duties as needed to support program success
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Clinical & operational experience in acute rehabilitation
- Strong leadership experience
- Rehabilitation operations and program growth
- Understanding of rehab workflows, compliance, and performance metrics
Preferred Skills
- Background as RN, PT, OT, or Speech Pathologist
- Business development and marketing skills
- Experience in attracting and retaining patients
- Transitioning from Director of Business Development to operations
Requirements
Experience: Strong leadership experience in an acute rehabilitation setting
Education: Minimum a graduate of a four-year bachelor's degree program
License & Certification:
- PT/OT/SLP/RN license preferred
