Deliver family-centered care guided by CHOP’s Nursing Professional Practice Model.
Develop, evaluate, and revise patients’ plans of care throughout their hospitalization.
Gather and analyze data to inform the care team and delegate tasks.
Promote excellent patient outcomes by adhering to evidence-based practices, nursing standards, and safety procedures.
Identify and address safety concerns or ethical dilemmas with unit leadership.
Develop effective partnerships with the interdisciplinary care team.
Adopt healthcare technology and clinical practice changes in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain CEUs for nursing licensure and comply with annual nursing competencies and mandatory education.

Use of patient-facing technology (IV pumps, point-of-care devices, CR monitors)
Ability to gather and assess clinical information using appropriate healthcare technology

Experience: At least one (1) year RN experience; Preferred: At least one (1) year OR Scrub experience.

Education: Required: Technical diploma in Nursing; Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

License & Certification:

Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) or Nursing Temporary Practice Permit (Pennsylvania)
Registered Nurse (New Jersey) or Nursing Temporary Practice Permit (New Jersey)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
