Job Responsibilities
- Supervises and oversees the planning, organizing, and directing of patient care services.
- Ensures consistent delivery of high-value quality care to all patient populations served.
- Establishes patient assignments and staff scheduling.
- Manages patient visit volume distributions.
- Assists in meeting financial targets by effectively managing utilization, productivity, personnel, and supplies.
- Supports and educates staff in resolving operational issues/problems.
- Assists in developing and implementing changes in policies, practices, and standardized procedures based on input from staff and administration.
- Promotes optimal patient care while remaining congruent with current laws and regulatory standards.
- Collaborates with others to coordinate services and streamline work flows and procedures.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Leadership experience in a Home Health environment.
- Computer skills, including competency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to learn and efficiently use electronic medical records systems.
- Clinical knowledge and critical thinking ability to effectively plan and provide coordination of patient care.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills and a role model for customer service.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work independently and competently.
- High degree of initiative, motivation, flexibility, and creativity.
Requirements
Experience: 5 years recent relevant experience
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or physical therapy or occupational therapy
License & Certification:
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- PT-Physical Therapist
- OT-Occupational Therapist
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- Valid Driver's License
- Auto Insurance
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- As Needed on Weekends
