Job Responsibilities
- Lead shift operations to ensure delivery of high-quality care and optimal patient flow.
- Manage staffing assignments based on patient acuity and skill set of team members.
- Coordinate patient flow with Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Discharge Planners.
- Monitor overall patient status and closely track seriously ill patients.
- Ensure compliance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
- Support frontline team members and providers as a resource.
- Foster clinical collaboration focusing on expected patient length of stay.
- Perform direct patient care activities as needed.
- Enhance customer experience through nurse leader rounds and addressing patient/family complaints.
- Participate in and lead safety huddles.
- Promote change and problem solving within the team.
- Assess equipment needs for patient care.
- Assist with retention strategies for new team members.
- Maintain a regulatory-ready environment of care.
- Allocate staff appropriately and manage meal breaks.
- Utilize effective fiscal management skills in decision-making.
- Ensure regular attendance consistent with company policies.

Requirements
Experience: Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an OR Advance care setting; one (1) year in a clinical leader role.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) preferred.
License & Certification:
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
