Job Responsibilities

Establishes expectations and accountability for delivery of clinical education services and practices that create a patient-centered organization.
Expands clinical education program offerings to include additional service lines.
Responsible for all aspects of regulatory and accreditation leadership competencies.
Guides the Academic Affairs department and the Centralized Student Placement Service team.
Leads the AVPs of Academic Affairs team to ensure alignment with hospital and academic centers.
Oversees design and build of future Clinical Advancement Centers, including simulation strategies.
Develops and strengthens relationships with key education partners and vendors.
Negotiates contracts and manages performance accountability.
Manages CEU offerings for all clinical roles and evaluates new offerings.
Works with ambulatory and outpatient clinical education teams.
Engages group, division, and facility leaders to ensure consistent deployment of processes.
Benchmarks performance and identifies opportunities for customer/patient satisfaction improvement.
Integrates company initiatives into clinical education programs.
Stays abreast of changes in the healthcare landscape, including political and regulatory changes.
Leads program development at Galen College of Nursing to meet workforce development needs.
Builds strategies with Human Resources and Nursing to strengthen clinical workforce pipelines.
Leads the annual budget process for the HCA Healthcare Center for Clinical Advancement.
Systematically evaluates education plans for resource allocation and expected outcomes.
Collaborates to improve nursing practice through various clinical education strategies.

Requirements

Experience: 10+ years of experience in progressive healthcare executive and hospital operations; 5+ years of experience in a nursing executive role preferred.

Education: Master's degree in Nursing or related field required; Doctorate preferred.

License & Certification:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required.
Certified Nursing Admin preferred.
