- Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
- Manages operational issues during shifts.
- Provides clinical care as needed based on census demands.
- Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leaders.
- Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to staff.
