Job Responsibilities
- Intaking patients
- Preparing rooms for patients
- Gathering needed information for clinic visits
- Coordinating services during clinic visits
- Giving injections
- Conducting allergy testing
- Administering phototherapy
- Supporting a patient-centered approach to care
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to understand and implement detailed instructions
- Ability to perform accurate physical observation of patients
- Effective verbal and written communication
Preferred Skills
- Passion for dermatology
- Experience in patient care
Requirements
Experience: 1 year of patient care experience preferred
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assisting program
License & Certification:
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Schedule:
- Flexibility in schedule required
- Rotating shifts may be necessary
- Overtime as required
