Job Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of technical skills during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Provide efficient, comfortable, and safe examinations for all patients.
Proficiently handle all aspects of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring.
Follow CDC isolation guidelines and ensure proper use of PPE and hand hygiene.
Identify and prepare patients using aseptic technique as required by procedures.
Adhere to regulatory standards and enforce safety regulations.
Meet department-specific competencies annually.
Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as necessary.
Perform treatments and administer medications following policy and training.
Function effectively during clinical emergencies.
Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and medications.
Maintain accuracy and security of medical records.
Perform effectively in all procedural roles within a therapeutic cardiac laboratory.

Requirements

Experience:

Education: Associate OR Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
